Within the church, we are called to a life of charity. This charity is displayed through our love, care and concern for those in need. We at Christ Lutheran find the source and motivation for these works from the Gospel. The Gospel that is grasped in faith produces love. Love then seeks and serves the neighbor.

Helping Hands Christmas Dinner for the Needy

Along with proclaiming forgiveness to sinners, Jesus performed acts of mercy, care and healing to the lowly and brokenhearted. Human care, then, is an extension of Christ's work; it is a compliment to the feeding of souls through God's Word and His gifts to the Church.

Mercy and caring will be an integral part of who Christ Lutheran Church is, as they reach out to their community with the love of Christ.
